A blend of Miles, Coltrane and Parker with a dash of James Brown, Stevie Wonder and The Blues Brothers all topped off with a Spiral twist.
Featuring the expressive tones of multi-instrumentalist Andrew Hall on vocals and woodwinds, who has played around New Zealand and the world at various jazz and symphonic festivals. Together with Hayden Patching on trumpet and flugelhorn, they hold down the melodic lines. With Anthony Hunt on piano/organ, Nick Taylor on bass and the funkiest drummer around, Steven Thomas, Spiral plays all the tunes you know, thought you knew, and wish you knew.
