Nudge's reputation has been built over 10 years experience Nathan Waitai has provided solutions for all his clients.

Nudge was established in 1996 by Nathan Waitai FOUNDING MEMBER and Guitarists/Vocalist and has performed at various
events including Weddings, Corporates, Pubs, Clubs, Toast
Martinborough Wine and food Festival through to Christmas in
the Park (backing national celebrities, Suzanne Prentice, Frankie Stevens, Russell Harrison, Pio Terei, Ainslie Allen just to name a few).

We are a Professional 2 - 10 piece band, depending on what function we are performing for which consists of Drums, Bass, Lead Guitar, Tenor Sax, Trumpet Keyboards,last but not least, our Lead Male and Female vocalists who perform on percussion, and 3 dancers.

Our repertoire consists of a wide range of covers where we strive to stay as true to the original as possible.We cater for those who need quiet dinner music with a range of easy listening jazz standards and instrumentals through to 50’s & 60’s Rock n Roll and the big brass numbers like, In the Mood, and artists like Dean Martin, Herb Alpert, through to 60’s & 70’s Motown and Disco sounds including artists like Stevie Wonder, Tina Turner & Smokey Robinson, to 80’s & 90’s with artists like Whitney Houston, Shania Twain & Ricky Martin. We also include popular N.Z artists like The Exponents, Hello Sailor, Dragon and Ardijah and for those who like their music rockier, there is some classic blues artists such as Eric Clapton, Gary Moore, and Stevie Ray Vaughan or soft rock like The Eagles and Little River Band through to classic Punk funk Red Hot Chili Peppers. As you can see we cater for most musical tastes. If there’s any special number that you want, give us a little notice and we’ll learn it.

On stage we are well presented and dressed accordingly for any occasion. We have recently added our High Impact Shows Featuring Our Hot Full 7 Piece Band with our Beautiful 3 Dancers performing Tina Turner Tribute, Motown Tribute, Beyonce and Rihanna Tribute.
